We believe art belongs in your hands, not just on your screen.
ARTINE. started with a simple frustration: sourcing art for a project has never worked the way sourcing anything else does. A designer can spec a light fixture, a fabric, a stone finish — dimensions, price, lead time, one clean sheet. Art gets none of that. It's scattered across cold emails, gallery visits, and algorithms that don't know what a room actually needs.
But this is about more than a better spec sheet.
We believe our industry — and honestly, our whole moment — is starting to crave something real again. Something rooted. A book you hold. Pages you turn with your hands, not a feed you scroll past. In a world moving toward more automation, more efficiency, more distance between the maker and the person who finds them, we wanted to build the opposite: slower, tactile, that which puts you back in the room with the work and knowing the real artist.
We were tired of listing sites.
We were tired of databases.
We were tired of databases.
We are connection. We are community. We are working artists — real people, real hands, real studios — introduced to the people who bring their work into the world.
Every issue is curated, not automated. Every artist is chosen, not scraped. Every piece comes with the story and details behind it, not just a price tag. This is art the way it's always been discovered best: through relationship, through trust, through someone who's actually looked at the work and believes in it.
We're built for the people who still believe that matters — designers, art consultants, and collectors who want their work grounded in something authentic, not just efficient.
Welcome to ARTINE. Let's build this, one issue and one artist at a time.
